Share lovely and comfortable, well maintained, winterized cottages. Ski at Algonquin Park or Arrowhead Provincial Park nearby. 4-piece bathroom (bath and shower). Whirlpool bathtubs in all cottages, fully equipped kitchen with all amenities, all necessary linens and towels, log burning fireplaces, AM-FM radio, TV, VCR, DVD, CD player.

Weekend Trips Policy

Sign-up for Weekend Trips will commence at the Open House. This year the date is November 18, 2011 at 7 pm.

Important details:

Complete the enclosed Weekend Trip Sign-Up form before coming to the Open House. Plan to be there early. Make sure you have a cheque or cash with you to secure your spot. Please do not fill out any cheques until you have signed up at the Weekend Trips table in case the trip is full.

You are able to sign-up one other member who is unable to be in attendance at the Open House. Payment for that individual is required. A family member can sign-up other members of their own family with payment.

Priority will be given to members volunteering at Open House.

When you arrive at the Open House please take a number and we will call you to the Weekend Trips table to process your form and payment. Please wait for your number to be called to avoid crowding at the table.

The club facilitates passengers looking for rides. A list of drivers, willing to take passengers, will be compiled and distributed to those members looking for rides. The onus is on the passenger to find a ride, not on the Trakkers Weekend Trip coordinator. It is important for individuals who use their vehicles for carrying passengers to have adequate Third Party Automobile Liability Insurance.

Why the new process? Our weekend trips fill up so fast that many members miss the chance for a weekend trip experience. We’re trying to ensure a greater chance for all members to participate, and a more orderly sign-up process at the Open House. This is new. We hope it makes things better. Your patience is appreciated and your feedback welcomed.
