Welcome to Trakkers!

Trakkers is a volunteer, non-profit, recreational ski club dedicated to the support and enjoyment of cross-country skiing and has been providing Sunday ski trips in luxury highway coaches to Southern Ontario ski resorts for over 30 years.

Trakkers welcomes members of all ages and all skill levels, from novice to the expert. Trakkers is the club for you if you want to learn to ski or improve your skills.

Members are entitled to free ski lessons taught by CANSI certified instructors. Lessons are for all ages & levels!

Sunday Trip February 17th - Kawartha Nordic

Registration is now closed.
There are 10 standby seats still available on the bus prior to departure Sunday morning.
First come, first served.

Kawartha Nordic Centre is located 40 km north of Peterborough. There are 34 km of classic trails and 13.5 km of skating trails plus, for snowshoeing, 10 km of wilderness trails following a loop through beautiful Canadian Shield terrain. 

There is no cafeteria or other food service on site, so Trakkers and guests will need to bring their own food. We will have use of a log cabin with a wood fireplace. There is an on-site ski rental run by a local retailer. 

Indoor washrooms are in an outdoor trailer adjacent to the main chalet.

Youth (4-17) $11
under 4 - free
Student (post sec) $11
Snowshoe pass: $8

Classic - $25.00 ( less $5.00 post sec) ( less $10.00 youth)
Skate - $35.00 (less $5.00 post sec) ( less $10.00 youth)

Sunday, February 24 - Trakkers annual Wine and Cheese @Scenic Caves

This year's Wine and Cheese event will be held on Sunday, February 24 at Scenic Caves. This is a great opportunity to socialize with members in the club and invite friends and family interested in checking out the club. Festivities will start around 3:00 p.m. Please sign up for this trip early, since seats tend to fill up quickly!

Sunday February 24, 12:45 - 2:45 p.m. Advanced Skate Class

Come join Sylvia and Xavier for this special two-hour advanced skate ski lesson. This is a great opportunity for skate skiers who have mastered their intermediate skills and want to up their game, or who are thinking about teaching. You'll learn free skate, offset, one-skate and two-skate. Sylvia and Xavier are both CANSI certified level 2 instructors. The lesson will be videotaped to give you even more information about how you're skiing and where you can improve.
